Toasted Cheese Bloomer

Classic, simple and delicious, need we say more! A toasted cheese sandwich made with Johnston Mooney and O’Brien Malted Brown Bloomer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of Johnston Mooney and O’Brien Malted Brown Bloomer
  • 2 slices of your favourite cheese (cheddar, edam, gouda)
  • 10g butter

Method

Butter a slice of Johnston Mooney and O’Brien Malted Brown Bloomer on one side. Add the cheese and place the remaining slice on top. If you don’t have a sandwich maker, add the sandwich to a dry medium hot pan and toast on each side until crispy and the cheese is melted.

Tip: you can add some sliced spring onion or chilli sauce for an extra kick
