Halloumi and Beetroot Burger

Enjoy our Bundys Gourmet range with this vegetarian special recipe and cook up some delicious burgers, with a Bundys Sourdough Bun, to add some OOH-LA-LA to your BBQ!

Ingredients and info:

15 minutes Serves 4

  • 280g Halloumi cheese
  • 2 Beetroot thinly sliced (pickled or cooked)
  • 1 Red onion
  • Rocket
  • Lollo Rosso lettuce
  • Red Pepper flakes
  • Mayonnaise
  • 4 Bundys Gourmet Sourdough Buns


  • Lightly toast the Bundys Gourmet Sourdough Buns.
  • Add the mayonnaise and the lettuce.
  • Cook the halloumi in a medium dry pan until golden brown, turning when crispy.
  • Place the halloumi on the bun, slice the beetroot and onion and add on top.
  • Garnish with the rocket, red pepper flakes and a dollop of mayonnaise. Place the other half of the bun on top.
