Halloumi and Beetroot Burger
Enjoy our Bundys Gourmet range with this vegetarian special recipe and cook up some delicious burgers, with a Bundys Sourdough Bun, to add some OOH-LA-LA to your BBQ!
Ingredients and info:
15 minutes Serves 4
- 280g Halloumi cheese
- 2 Beetroot thinly sliced (pickled or cooked)
- 1 Red onion
- Lollo Rosso lettuce
- Red Pepper flakes
- 4 Bundys Gourmet Sourdough Buns
- Lightly toast the Bundys Gourmet Sourdough Buns.
- Add the mayonnaise and the lettuce.
- Cook the halloumi in a medium dry pan until golden brown, turning when crispy.
- Place the halloumi on the bun, slice the beetroot and onion and add on top.
- Garnish with the rocket, red pepper flakes and a dollop of mayonnaise. Place the other half of the bun on top.
